Homecoming Celebration

Oak Ridge Baptist has been at it for 100 years (at least). So this year on Sept. 30th, during our Sunday Morning Service and most of that day, we will celebrate our 100th year of ministry in the Oak Ridge Community. During our morning service, Pastor Dale was able to get Dr. Danny (Daniel) Akins to commit to share the Word with us. Dr. Akins is the President of one our denominations most respected graduate schools, The Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The service will be followed by a meal of fellowship. Following the meal, we will meet back in the Sanctuary for a time of singing, sharing, and testimonies. We are asking long-time members as well as former members from years past, to share a song or story from your experience here at Oak Ridge that has encouraged you in your walk with the Lord. So, please begin to spread the word and invite one and all, for the very special day in the life of our church.
